Women 40 and up, come join me as we explore Jesus's most famous sermon in His sweeping depiction of kingdom citizenship! Most of us have only encountered the Sermon on the Mount in fragments, considering its subdivisions as complete teachings in their own right - a study on blessedness; a reflection on the Lord’s Prayer; a discussion of religious devotion, money, ambition, and relationships. But what if we navigated these 3 chapters in Matthew as they were originally heard: as a cohesive, well-ordered message, intended to challenge us to think differently about what it means to be a follower of Jesus, a citizen of the kingdom of heaven? We'll use Jen Wilkin's book and teaching videos to come and learn from Jesus, just as his disciples did.

Welcome to the Fight: Men, in the battle for your integrity, your values, your marriage, your family, and your impact in life, there is no more formidable warrior than you. Why? Because God specifically designed and equipped YOU to fight in the unique arena that is your life, and to do so boldly, and ultimately, when the dust settles, to do so victoriously. This group aims to encourage, challenge, and strengthen us as men to submit to Jesus, walk in integrity, take ownership of our responsibilities, and step up as men who lead with wisdom and honor. If you are ready to get off your backside, to stop being on the defensive, to get on your front foot, and to take the initiative in the battle for your family, church, and community alongside other like-minded Christian men through honest, vulnerable, Scripture-anchored conversations . . . then Welcome to the Fight.
