Hey Dads! Have you ever wanted to bless your kids, hang out with other cool dads, sleep under the stars (or under a thin veneer of vinyl tent), shoot water balloons at small children, eat food you prepared over a fire, or go fishing? Have you ever dreamed it would be possible to do all that AT THE SAME TIME!?!?! Dream no more; this August at Tuckahoe State Park on the eastern shore we’ll be doing all that and more over a 2-night camping trip (Friday evening through Sunday morning). All Dads and kids approximately 4 to 14 (boys AND girls) are welcome. You’ll be responsible for a tent/sleeping accommodations and your own food. Nonrefundable $10 goes towards site fee. Additionally, we have a maximum capacity of 120, so this will truly be a unique opportunity to show our young ones how big the community of kids and Dads is in their corner. If necessary, you can plan on attending only one night vs two, but avoid that as best you can - there’s lots to miss on both days. We’ll all be packed up and gone in time to get to Mosaic for church that Sunday (about a 1.5 hour drive). There are plenty more details about what to expect and how to prepare; sign up to get more info! If you want to use a camper or a cabin instead, sign up and reach out to me directly - there is an ideal loop and set of cabins for you to reserve for yourself close to the large group tent area.
