Men, have you heard a lot of noise about this Crucible thing, but have questions? Curious about those weird honeycomb necklaces you see from time to time? Or maybe you just want to get around other men trying to figure out how to best serve those around them and to connect with God on an emotional level. Sounds cryptic right? Cryptic enough to pique your interest and sign up? I hope so! See you there.
When our culture talks about Jesus, it often highlights only half of who He is—the Lamb of God. But Scripture shows us the fuller picture: He is also the Lion of Judah. Equal parts truth and grace, strength and humility, warrior and servant. The ultimate goal of the group is to cultivate hidden lives with Christ that overflow into everyday courage, humility, and strength—men who love well, steward righteous anger wisely, and advance the Kingdom by pushing back darkness. To become men who are both dangerous and gentle. Men who can fight and protect, but also listen and love. Men who serve their families, their church, and the lost with integrity. To become dangerous gentlemen.

"We all long to live life at its best―to fuse freedom and spontaneity with purpose and meaning. Why then do we often find our lives so humdrum, so unadventuresome, so routine? Or else so frantic, so full of activity, but still devoid of fulfillment? How do we learn to risk, to trust, to pursue wholeness and excellence―to run with the horses in the jungle of life? In a series of profound reflections on the life of Jeremiah the prophet, Eugene Peterson explores the heart of what it means to be fully and genuinely human. His writing is filled with humor and self-reflection, insight and wisdom, helping to set a course for others in the quest for life at its best." Join us men as we study this book, gather for coffee and fellowship, and seek to build each other up over the course of the semester.
