A men's cigar group that will gather together weekly to discuss the sermons from the prior Sunday while enjoying premium cigars.

Calling all “rooks” and grand masters!! Coffee and chess is designed to be a low stakes, highly social, get your brain cells firing on all cylinders morning group. Each week you can expect to play 2-3 games with different people over the course of the hour of our gathering. The emphasis for this group is on cultivating community, not competition. Conversation will feature varying levels of specificity from week to week: sermon discussion prompts, ice breakers, odds and ends, or no prompt at all!

Discipline is an important aspect of discipleship. In this group, we will discuss spiritual disciplines and their application in our daily lives, identify habits & discussed methods of converting these habits into disciplines, & reflect on how our disciplines disciple others. We will create a challenge and check in throughout this period. Jesus said, “Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16)

"Fitness, Fellowship and Faith- a peer led workout group. We welcome men of all fitness levels and all physical abilities to the workouts. There are no requirements other than you show up on time to the location and follow what the workout leader has planned. We will not leave any man behind! "

This will be a Monthly potluck gathering in Fairfax for Mosaic people who live in Nova or anyone who wants to come.

Join us as we cover various topics such as the Gospel, building Christ-like character, developing personal testimony (and how to share it with others..especially at work), how to study the word and have a quiet time, scripture memory, and the 10:40 window and unreached people. The aim is to have solid discussion around these topics no matter your background.

Whether you're new to Christianity or just want to get back to basics, this group will explore how we can love God with our heart, soul, mind, and strength. We will collaborate on what it looks like for each man to challenge themselves in various spiritual disciplines and hold one another accountable to our goals with Truth and Grace. The format will be based around a mutual Bible reading plan that we will all go through together.

There is an epidemic of family estrangement going on and no one is talking about it. The pain and devastation that occurs for a mother is overwhelming. This group will be a support to help mothers dealing with their estranged adult children. We will encourage and support one another as well as share valuable resources to help in the healing process.

A social group where all riders are welcome no matter what bike or skill level. We will primarily just be meeting and doing a casual ride or ride somewhere new to explore what Maryland has to offer.

For mothers with small children ages 0-5. Pack the Snacks is for mother's with small children that love to get out of the house and have some fun! We'll get together with our little explorers weekly at different locations in the area to have summer fun, fellowship and grow together as mothers. We'll plan for a variety of activities such as berry picking, splash pads, farms, and parks. Do you like to play volleyball and want to have some fun this summer? Whether your skills are on point or a little rusty, we'll have a great time getting some exercise, meeting new Mosaic people, and getting to play volleyball this summer! We will play pick up games on outdoor sand courts in Savage (Howard County) from 7pm until dark on Thursday nights. Plan to wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle, no other supplies necessary. Middle school, high school, and college aged students welcome!

Playground group meets on Saturday mornings at various public playgrounds throughout Howard County.

This is a bi-weekly group, starting August 13th and ending January 21st. We are constantly being formed by the world around us. To be formed by Jesus will require us to become his apprentice. To live by what the first Christian disciples called a Rule of Life—a set of practices and relational rhythms that slow us down and open up space in our daily lives for God to do what only God can do—transforms the deepest parts of us to become like him. We will walk with John Mark Comer and incorporate the second three of nine practices (consisting of four sessions each) of the way of Jesus: This study is intensive, and may require the purchase of additional books to enhance understanding as we enter these practices with the intent to change how we live our everyday life. These ancient practices have much to offer us. By learning to rearrange our days, we can follow the Way of Jesus. We can be with him. Become like him. And do as he did.

If so, I would be honored and grateful to have you in this group. We will be going through the book I am RECOVERED by Todd Sylvester. Each week we will share our stories and discuss all aspects of recovery with the hope of achieving, and maintaining freedom from addiction.

Grab your stroller or scooters for the kids and join us as we walk, talk and enjoy the summer sun. We’ll be walking different local areas like Lake Elkhorn, Centennial, Lake Kittamaqundi, etc.

This will be a combo Tennis and Pickleball Group, but the real purpose is outreach and Evangelism, sharing the gospel, context to meet people where they are (literally) and invite them to Mosaic, to receive Christ and to be baptized. We will use local courts, including St Tim's in Catonsville, where the club pro has agreed to give lessons to large groups (6 - 15 of persons) where we can do drills, get instruction; this allows all skill and ability levels to participate. We will have socials, where we would bring snacks and drinks to enjoy at the courts after play, or for anyone who just wants to watch. By way of background, racquet sports are considered the most social - this provides a great context for outreach. Perhaps once a week, or even in a smaller group we would discuss progress sharing the gospel, identify people who may be ready or who we can invite, and then pray for these folks. We will have several folks who are skilled players to help get things going and help beginners feel comfortable.

I get it, a theology group sounds really boring BUT hear me out! This group isn't going to be a stuffy college class, but instead a group where we'll bring our questions and doubts about God, faith, and the world and see the practical impact of good (and bad) theology in our everyday lives. This group will not be over your head or intimidating. It will be fun and real as we dive into discussions that YOU choose and look to scripture as our guide. Come ready to be challenged and built up.

Whether you are caring for your spouse, child or parent this group is for you. We will talk about different topics pertaining to caregivers and find comfort in a community where we can say me too. Being a caregiver can be a pretty lonely place at times. God did not intend for us to go through these times alone.
